Purnima that come in the month of magha is known as magha purnima. It is regarded best among all other purnimas. On this day taking a bath in the river is considered auspicious. This time Magha purnima is on 5^th February. According to Religious belief, that on this day all Gods and Godesses come on the earth in prayagraj for Ganga bath and shelters for sometime near the bank of the river. People come to this place and do prayers of Ganga maiya and give food to the sages with love and respect. By doing so, it removes all the sufferings and pains and they get relief from the diseases and sins.

Starting time of Magha purnima- 4^th February 2023 (Saturday) at 9.29 pm

Ending time- 5^th February (Sunday) at 11.58 pm

According to Sunrise it will be celebrated on 5^th February itsel.

On this day Sarva siddhi yoga start from 7.07am to 12.13 pm also on this day there is Pushya and Ashlesha Nakshatra, so it is too auspicious.

Rituals on Magha Purnima:-

Take a bath in the river and donate something to the needy people and sages.

Worship lord Satyanarayanji and Vishnu laxmiji.

It removes all sins, sufferings and obstacles  and bestows wealth, health and luck
